Why we built TownFront
For years, local governments have faced an unfair choice: pay enterprise prices for heavyweight municipal platforms, or make do with a generic website that no one on staff can maintain. Meanwhile, web technology kept getting better — faster to build with, easier to manage, and more affordable to run.
TownFront exists to close that gap. Modern technology now makes it possible to deliver municipal websites faster, better, and at a substantially more reasonable cost than the traditional platforms — without cutting corners on accessibility, security, or service. We build for the towns, villages, boroughs, and townships that big vendors overlook.
What we believe
- The website is the front door. For most residents, the website is town hall. It should be welcoming, clear, and open around the clock.
- Clerks are the real users. If a busy clerk can’t update it confidently, it isn’t finished.

Where we come from
TownFront builds on years of hands-on experience delivering and supporting websites for local organizations and municipalities. That background taught us what actually matters to municipal staff: reliability, responsiveness, straightforward answers, and a website that quietly does its job. TownFront is the next generation of that work — rebuilt from the ground up around modern technology and a single focus on local government.
