What the site is built to
The pages themselves are built and tested to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard the Department of Justice’s ADA Title II rule adopts, and checked against WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria: real headings in order, landmarks, visible focus, keyboard operation throughout, and contrast checked rather than assumed. That work is in the templates, so it holds whether or not you use anything on this panel.
The part that stays with the publisher
Alternative text, headings used as headings, plain link text, and documents that were accessible before they were uploaded are decided by whoever publishes them. No platform can promise that on their behalf, and a scanned PDF cannot be fixed by any tool on this page.
